Odd or Even Year Usage
The term Odd Year Usage or Even Year Usage denotes the years on which a Bi-annual or Biennial vacation / timeshare agreement has its usage. The owner will be afforded, within their agreement or contract when purchasing an Odd or Even year program, the use of the vacation / timeshare resort. For example, the owner of an Even year agreement would be able to utilise, and occupy the resort in 2008, 2010, 2012 etc, on the fixed week or floating week depending on the program purchased within the or agreement or contract.
The Odd or Even Years usage is extremely popular with owners for many different reasons. For example, they wish to return to a specific location, their home resort, however they only wish to vacation or holiday there every other year. They want to be a vacation / timeshare owner, however only take a vacation / timeshare holiday every other year due to their lifestyle circumstances, or if the destination is long haul and they only wish to travel to this destination once every other year. It is important to remember that if purchasing a Lease or right to buy vacation / timeshare property, you will only have half the usage time as an annual usage agreement.
