Fixed Unit
Fixed Unit is a term used for a vacation / timeshare ownership which is deeded or certificated to a specific unit number. Some vacation / timeshare owners prefer to own a specific Fixed Unit at a specific time every year. Owners sometimes like to know where the Unit is located, view and amenities. For example, some owners may have purchased a Fixed Unit with a pool or sea view, so that upon their return every year they are afforded the same views and luxuries purchased from the developer or Timeshare Resale Company originally. Also a Fixed Unit can be beneficial if you have a large party of people travelling on vacation or holiday every year.
A Fixed Unit is not to be mistaken for a Fixed Week (see Fixed Week), which is a Week Fixed at a certain time of year between weeks 1 to 52 dependent on the Timeshare Calendar issued by the timeshare resort.
