Club Trustee
The term Club Trustee is in reference to the legal form of ownership that you own. When purchasing a Vacation / Timeshare Ownership program in the Club Trustee format, you will be issued with a Membership Certificate from the Trustee (see trustee) that the developer has placed the units in Trust with.
The Club Trustee format has been extremely successful through out Europe where many Timeshare developments have adopted this legal format with Trustees like the First National Trustee Company (see FNTC) and Continental Trustees. The developer units are placed in Trust with the Trustees as an added guarantee to the timeshare owners, to safe guard against any unforseen developer issues.
