ARDA
ARDA is the American Resort Development Association, they are based in Washington D.C. ARDA was formed in 1969 to represent the vacation ownership, resort development and timeshares industry. ARDA has more than 1000 corporate members including privately owned companies and publicly traded companies.
ARDA has grown and evolved into the premier voice for the development of the timeshare industry, encouraging the education and out reach to its member base. Standards and Ethics are at the heart of ARDA's conception, and their continued efforts within the vacation property ownership development industry. ARDA has a strict Code of Ethics, which all members must abide by. According to ARDA's mission statement "it is the goal of the American Resort Development Association to foster and promote the growth of the timeshare industry and to serve its members through:
- Legislative and regulatory advocacy
- Public relations and communications
- Education
- Membership development
- And ethics enforcement
Visions of the World are International Affiliate Members of ARDA and continue to support all that ARDA is doing for the Timeshare, Vacation Ownership and Resort Development Industry. Visions of the World have had the pleasure of being involved at the ARDA annual conference Resale Forum over the last two years. We will continue to give our input to further better the Resales industry through Legislation, to increase our commitment to excellence and service for our clients
